Next week I start a new role with as Associate Account Executive with our international division! I will be branching out from my previous positions in buying, planning, and merchandising into the sales arena.     When I saw the opening for the new position, I knew I had to go for it. The job description somehow seems to pull my education, career experience, and varied interests all together.  I love shoes, retail, fashion, travel, different cultures, international business, foreign relations, and so on.  I really love learning and being challenged so there was not much hesitation when I applied. 

My life is no stranger to change; I think I have already lived more lives than old cat.  But now that I am getting ready to start, I find myself a little nervous.     Trust me, I am very excited to begin this new path- I want this, but I am a little anxious for the change.  I guess because of all the previous change in my life I have nailed down the ability to be thrown into any situation or with any group of people and easily adapt to my environment.  So I find it odd I find myself nervous, but it guess it’s just natural.

Anyway, I can’t wait to jump in!!!  I am very lucky to have the opportunity and know it will be awesome.
